What is Skyrunning, exactly?
Skyrunning is high-altitude mountain running — steep, technical, and typically above 2,000 meters. The International Skyrunning Federation defines it as “mountain running above 2,000m over extremely technical trails where the incline exceeds 30% and the climbing difficulty does not exceed grade II.”
In short: it’s where endurance meets elevation MEETS TECHNICAL MOUNTAIN TERRAIN.
