What is Skyrunning, exactly?

Skyrunning is high-altitude mountain running — steep, technical, and typically above 2,000 meters. The International Skyrunning Federation defines it as “mountain running above 2,000m over extremely technical trails where the incline exceeds 30% and the climbing difficulty does not exceed grade II.”

In short: it’s where endurance meets elevation MEETS TECHNICAL MOUNTAIN TERRAIN.

Why I Run

Running gives me purpose—and I want more people to feel that. I’m focused on growing skyrunning in the U.S., especially for women and girls.
